Students will work on an appropriate research project in data mining and use practical data mining systems to discover patterns from real business data. They will also evaluate and interpret these mined patterns.

1. The learner will describe the process and components of Business Intelligence (BI) 2. The learner will compose queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M Language) 3. The learner will construct BI semantic models and relationships 4. The learner will create visualizations of BI semantic models 5. The learner will generate and apply business logic using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) 6. The learner will apply BI tools to evaluate the report performance
